20/20 MIRRORS

First attending college for jazz performance the musicians soul in me has allowed me to take my time and develop at my own pace. That being said 2020 brings a culmination of evolution.

To get to this point has taken a ton of time , dedication and just pure physical work.

I would say that I consume and am inspired by mostly all art in some way but not directly influenced. I have worked on creating my own unique style that is ever evolving but now more focused and formatted as seen by the 20/20 series.

20/20 series mirrors continue my pursuit of creating unique hand made art mirrors in both abstract and known imagery representing everything from power, energy and spirit.

This piece concludes my twelve and a half years living at my Philadelphia home/studio. I created the "fingerprint" spiral while listening to Stellar Regions by John Coltrane. It was important to transfer the lines as close as possible to capture the "in the moment" flow and energy of the spiral.
